What is Cosmetic Tattooing?
Cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup or micropigmentation, using a specialized digital machine that lightly “dusts” pigment into the skin using a 1-3 needle configuration to enhance natural features and mimic an everyday soft makeup result. Pigment is placed more superficially in the upper dermal layers using specialized, finer pigments formulated to fade gracefully.

What is the pre-care and post-care?
48 Hours Before: Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and energy drinks, as they dehydrate the skin and thin the blood. Do not take blood-thinning medications like aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil supplements (use Tylenol if you need pain relief). 2 Weeks Before: Stop using retinols, chemical peels, AHAs, or anti-aging products near the treatment area. Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and Botox injections. Day of Appointment: Do not work out, as increased blood flow and sweat can negatively alter the skin canvas.
Day 1 (Absorb): Gently blot the treated area with a clean tissue every 15–30 minutes for the first few hours to absorb excess lymphatic fluid and prevent thick scabbing. Days 1–10 (Wash/Moisturize): Wash your hands first. Gently cleanse the area twice daily using cool water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser, then pat dry with a clean paper towel. Apply a tiny, rice-grain-sized amount of the recommended aftercare ointment with a cotton swab. Never saturate the area; skin needs to breathe. Do Not Pick: Let any dry skin or flaking naturally exfoliate away. Picking causes scarring and patches of missing color. Things to Avoid: Keep makeup, sweat, long steaming showers, swimming pools, and direct sunlight completely away from the area until it is fully healed.

How do I contact for contract or collab work?
Please email RougeCosmeticTattoo@gmail.com directly. I am flexible with compensation and arrangement, including artist collaborations, commission, full or partial room rental, or contractor/employee roles, depending on what best compliments my skills and your business model.
What if I have previous Permanent Makeup? Do you go over other artist’s work?

It all depends on the current pigment saturation level (dark or saturated), any possible color shifts (blue, grey, or red), the shape and symmetry (too thick or uneven), and overall skin health (presence of scar tissue).
